1.  Important information and who we are

This privacy notice applies to Eurostaff Group GmbH (SECO licensed recruitment agency) with their principal trading address at: Ruessenstrasse 5, 6340, Baar.

We would like to inform you, on how Eurostaff Group GmbH processes your personal data through your use of this website, including any data you may provide through this website when you sign up to our newsletter, submit your application documents, purchase a product or service or take part in a competition.

This website is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children.

It is important that you read this privacy notice together with any other privacy notice or fair processing notice we may provide on specific occasions when we are collecting or processing personal data about you so that you are fully aware of how and why we are using your data. This privacy notice supplements the other notices and is not intended to override them.

2. The data we collect about you

Personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data).

We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which we have grouped together follows:

  • Identity Data includes first name, maiden name, last name, username or similar identifier, marital status, title, date of birth and gender.
  • Contact Data includes address, email address and telephone numbers.

  • Recruitment data include application documents submitted and other data collected during the recruitment process

  • Marketing and Communications Data includes your preferences in receiving marketing from us and your communication preferences.

We also collect, use and share Aggregated Data such as statistical or demographic data. Aggregated Data may be derived from your personal data but is not considered personal data in law as this data does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity. For example, we may aggregate your Usage Data to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific website feature. However, if we combine Aggregated Data with your personal data so that it can directly or indirectly identify you, we treat the combined data as personal data which will be used in accordance with this privacy notice.

We do not collect any Sensitive Data respectively Special Categories of Personal Data about you (this includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health and genetic and biometric data). Nor do we collect any information about criminal convictions and offences.

Please avoid providing particularly sensitive personal data when submitting your application to us.

Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you (for example, to provide job offers to you). In this case, we may have to cancel our services but we will notify you if this is the case at the time.

3. How is your personal data collected?

4. Purposes for which we will use your personal data

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:

  • Where we need to perform the contract we are about to enter into or have entered into with you.

5. Who can access my data

Within our organization, entities that need to know your data to fulfill our contractual and regulatory obligations can access your data.

In addition, processors (‘processor’ means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which processes personal data on behalf of us as the controller) engaged by us may also obtain access to data for the above-mentioned purposes. These are companies in the categories IT services, printing services, telecommunications, sales and marketing. If we use processors to provide our services, we will take appropriate legal precautions as well as the relevant technical and organizational measures to protect personal data in accordance with applicable law.

7. Google Analytics

Based on our legitimate interests, i.e. our interest in optimizing and economic operation of our Website, we use the web analytics service Google Analytics of Google Inc. ("Google").  The web analytics service Google Analytics uses cookies. The data generated by these cookies about the use of our Website usually are transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

Google is certified under the Swiss-US Privacy Shield and EU-US Privacy Shield Agreement and therefore guarantees compliance with Swiss and European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov).

Google uses such data on our behalf to evaluate the use of our Website by our users, to compile reports on the activities on this Website and to provide us with further services related to the use of this Website. The processed data can be used to generate pseudonymous usage profiles.

We use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymization. This means that the users' IP address is shortened by Google in Switzerland and within the States that are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address is sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there in exceptional cases only.

The IP address transmitted by the user's browser is not merged with other data provided by Google. Users may prevent the storage of cookies by setting their browser software accordingly; in addition, users may also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and their transfer to Google as well as the processing of such data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
