To accept, plan and execute complex and multiple (international) projects with ambiguous stakeholders needs and deliver these projects.
Initiates client meeting to define project scope
Designs, communicates and implements an operational plan for completion of a project
Identifies, develops and gathers the resources necessary to complete the project
Looks for and engages internal sponsors within my client to support the project
Liaises with all the departments to secure specialized resources and contributions for the project.
Sets priorities, allocates tasks, and coordinates project staff and assists them to solve problems
Structures and organizes the project that suits the specific scope and risks of that project
Monitors progress and performance against the project plan
(Pro-actively) takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays
Conducts project meetings and prepares regular reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team
Ensures during the project that the project result remains aligned with the customers and other relevant stakeholders needs
Develops project schedules, budgets and forecasts
Estimates the costs, resources, and time required to complete an project and monitors activities
Analyses financial data and proactively uses information to manage a project
Identifies possible risks and proactively takes action to resolve operational problems
Manages multiple projects, within one department, or multidisciplinary projects within the firm, at the same time and in relation to each other.
Must haves:
Polytechnic college, institute of professional studies, or university of applied sciences in Physics, Aeronautical, Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Prepared to travel internationally on occasion
Relevant work experience in a (international) R&D environment
Good understanding of the English language
Nice haves:
Knowledge of wind energy is an advantage
Good understanding of the Dutch language
