Creates the 3D models and drawings of rotor blades and details based on structural and aero dynamical design
Performs product tolerance analysis and design space analysis
Controls the CAD interfaces to CAM
Supports the design integration process in modelling and
visualising construction details.
Support our clients engineers with 3D models of blades, composite lay ups and process feedback
Supports the implementation of Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM: Measurement, mechanisation and automation)
Supports the Tooling Design (MnT)
Responsible for timely uploads in MRP and PDM systems.
leading our client in composite product modelling (CAD)
Actively follows and stays up-to-date with (new) developments in 3D CAD, PDM systems, and wind energy industry in general
Shares his knowledge actively within our client
Is fluent in high end CAD application (our client uses NX and Solid Edge)
Must haves:
Polytechnic college, institute of professional studies, or university of applied sciences in Physics, Aeronautical, Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Prepared to travel internationally on occasion
Relevant work experience in a (international) R&D environment
Good understanding of the English language
Nice haves:
Knowledge of wind energy is an advantage
Good understanding of the Dutch language
