Controls Engineer
Responsibilities:
o Systematic analysis and optimisation of turbine control based on measured data
o Development of tools for testing of control strategies with simulations using Matlab/Simulink or Scilab/Xcos and linearised models of wind turbines
o Further validation of control strategies with fully dynamic simulations of wind turbines using the simulation software Flex5
o Expert monitoring of the realisation and field testing
o Software documentation
Profile:
o University degree in an engineering discipline with a clear focus on automatic control engineering
o Experience in software packages for the design and analysis of control systems (e.g. Matlab/Simulink or Scilab/Xcos)
o Knowledge of dynamic and supervisory control strategies of wind turbines
o Good programming skills (Delphi, C++ and similar)
o Fluent in English
o Strong interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills in an international environment
