My client delivers wind turbine and blade technology maintenance services in Europe, the Americas and Asia. Our customers include the wind turbine manufacturers as well as wind park developers and specialist companies focusing on the manufacturing or development of turbine blade technology.
Position

Main responsibilities:

* Inspection, Identification and classification of defects and carrying out repairs thereof.
* Maintenance, repair and retrofit of composite products using prescribed procedures, methods, materials and equipment.
* Carry out jobs in accordance with the Quality, Health and Safety standards in the working areas.
* Adherence to maintenance, repair and service schedules and customer requirements.
* Documentation and MIS relative to service, maintenance & repairs etc.
* Maintenance of administrative systems for equipment and materials.
* Coordination with the site managers, service desk, and service engineering.

Profile:

* Relevant exposure and experience in composites materials.
* Candidates with experience with blade service, commissioning or aerodynamics design will be favoured.
* Demonstrated experience in a service environment involving composite or mechanical engineering and in performing inspections and repairs
* Familiarity with data collection, analysis, and presentation.
* Ability to understand technical specifications, engineering drawings.
* Ability to use and familiarity with standard office applications (Microsoft office, Excel, Power Point etc.)
* Able to work remotely from the company
* Good communication skills.
* Availability to travel nationally / internationally

Background:

* Diploma Mechanical Engineering / BSc, MSc. (or extensive relevant hands on experience).
* Minimum 2 years relevant experience
* Ability to train and develop people
* Natural tendency to investigate and question
* Result orientated
* European work permit is required

Work Location:

The work location for this position is all the wind parks throughout Spain/Portugal
