The Eurostaff Groups high profile client based in Mainland Europe is looking for a Turbine Loads Engineer.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Your primary responsibility is your technical contribution to new technology development, existing products and sales projects. The job consists of a wide variety of tasks ranging from feasibility studies and component design to wind turbine type approvals. You will specify and ensure the loads and operational conditions for the wind turbine. You will work actively on ways of optimising design driving loads using our in-house turbine simulation tool. You will also contribute to the continuous process of improving our tools and methods.
Qualifications and Work Experience
You have:
• An M.Sc. within civil or mechanical engineering
• Experience in Finite Element Analysis or other types of static or dynamic analysis of structural or mechanical systems
• Knowledge of design of structural components with respect to fatigue and extreme loads
You may have:
• Programming experience preferably Delphi
• Knowledge of control of mechanical systems
• Experience in working with fluid dynamics
• A few years of relevant industry experience
