Face to Face Interview: First Impressions
First impressions are crucial no matter how experienced or well trained the interviewee. People often form an opin ion of you and decide whether to progress within the first 3 minutes of the interview.
- Arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of the interview
- Appearance must be clean and smart
- Clothes should be ironed
- Shoes to be polished
- Hair combed
- Non overpowering fragrance
- Always give a firm handshake and plenty of eye contact
