Our Story
How it all started
Mark Znowski and Paul Flynn created Eurostaff Group in 2003, seeing an opportunity to create a recruitment firm offering more than others in the market. Building on an entrepreneurial team in the early years, their efforts were later recognised with the inclusion of the company in the prestigious Sunday Times Fast Track tables in both 2007 and 2008. With no airs and graces, and reinforcing our core values of transparency, perception and market intelligence, we continued to grow and establish ourselves in the UK and key European markets across our niche markets of Finance and Technology. Key to this was - and still is - employing staff with a local knowledge to the markets and cultures we operated in; we understand the value that jobseekers and companies seek when engaging with a professional recruitment firm and we ensure this is part of the makeup in the exceptional people we employ.
Where are we now?
The past two years have seen further growth (latest financial results), and the introduction of the parent brand Staffgroup in 2012, created the platform for the Eurostaff specialisms to grow and cement their places as specialists in the European Finance and Technology recruitment sectors. The subtle brand changes to these two divisions meant our team, candidates and clients were a lot clearer about our positioning in the market.
In addition, our specialist Energy team which was launched in 2010 has rapidly become one of the market leaders in the field. As such, the success saw the Energy arm of Eurostaff become a brand in its own right along with the other branding changes. Earthstaff was launched in January 2012 with the aim of becoming the market leader in the Energy sector and a sure sign of growth for the business.
What does the future hold?
Staffgroup, Eurostaff and Earthstaff all have ambitious growth plans moving forward. Continuing to offer a superior service to our candidates and clients throughout the UK, Germany, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Norway and many other countries, we will be looking to expand our offering: from a coverage point of view; adding value to the recruitment process by offering market insight and reports; and becoming true consultative experts who are recruitment partners to candidates and clients alike.
